Beautiful 8"x12" color glossy photo signed by Arturo Gatti. He signs in black ballpoint pen and inscribes the photo "To Dustin" and adds "your friend". The photo is in very good condition. Please review the scans and photos attached. There are 2 small, roughly 3/8" tears at the bottom of the photo, but they lay flat. Please try to find them with the magnifier.
Arturo "THUNDER' Gatti
, as he was known in his fighting days, was an Italian born Canadian professional boxer. Best known for his heart and bravery in the ring. He also carried exceptional punching power.
Perhaps best known for his 3 fight trilogy against "Irish" Mickey Ward, a punishing, grueling and relentless 30 rounds of which Gatti won the decision of the final two.
Also known as a boxer taken from us way before his time, just 37 years old. RIP Champ!
